as at 31.3.2010 is Rs.17,817.50 Cr.
15 out of the total 22 Pvt. Life Ins. Cos. made loss in 2009-10.
19 (out of the total 22) Pvt. Life Ins. Cos.
still have accumulated losses,
even though 7 Cos. managed to 'SHOW' profit for 2009-10.

ReplyDeletePlease go through the page 120 of IRDA's Annual Report 2009-10, which contains the said figures. IRDA's figures are final and if there is any discrepancy, the same should be reported by the Co. concerned to the IRDA and will be incorporated in the next annual report.
